PROBLEM:
The client made dummy ammo rounds to train troop top anticipate the recoil. they were hand inserting a cord into the back of the round to not damage the firing pin. They were hand cutting them then placing them on a laser marking machine. The process created many injuries and was slow.
SOLUTION:
Packard Automation decided to tackle both processes in one machine. The unit was designed and custom built to align the round, insert and cut the cord... then send it to the laser head where it would be serialized by a laser. It continues to save the client headaches and money.
